Live music for Charlie’s Irish Pub in the Historic Water Street Inn located in downtown Stillwater. Charlie’s Pub features live music every Friday and Saturday night from 7:30pm-11:30pm
(On the Patio weather permitting.) Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 on the Deck.

 

July 24th & 25th – Paul and Lorraine
Paul and Lorraine started with a rouge folk band (Folk Underground), then split off to form their own duo. They bring a wide variety to the table, including: lots of drinking, lots of losing your love, plenty of death, doom, and destruction, along with happy little nights in the Pub. They take requests and will play almost anything (if they know about half of it!)

July 31st, August 1st & 2nd -Broken Spoke
A high-energy Irish/folk band based in Saint Paul, MN highlighting the sweet stringed sounds of the fiddle, stand-up bass, guitar, and mandolin. Traditional Irish Music and Irish Rock with a twist! Broken Spoke never fail to deliver an outstanding performance that will have you up on your feet before you know it!

Original singer-songwriter/performer (Minneapolis/St. Paul), a child of the new ACOUSTIC POP ROCK wave will be sure to get your attention with his engaging stage presence and lively music. This high energy acoustic guitar player and singer will be sure to have you off your seat and wanting more of these original tunes.

August 14th & 15th Four Pints Shy
“Since 2006, Minneapolis-based Four Pints Shy has been combining Irish, English, and bluegrass music into a high energy performance experience. Whether it’s an uptempo jig or a raucous, sing-along pub song, Four Pints Shy will be sure to excite and entertain. Perfect music to come down to the pub and have a pint or two. Sláinte!”

Sunday August 16th Paisley Road
Paisley Road were are rock/country/blues/r&b a little of everything from led zeppelin/Janis Joplin to the Gorillaz/Atmoshphere and originals!

August 21st & 22nd – Tom Dahill
Tom Dahill and Ginny Johnson are superb entertainers with a fantastic repertoire of old Irish songs and dance tunes that you won’t hear from anyone else. They have command of many instruments between them; Irish button accordion, concertina, uilleann pipes, fiddle, whistle, bodhrán, guitar and they sort of juggle these instruments between them to suit the sounds to fit the venue as they go along through their performances. This is the music that is part of the soul of Ireland

Sunday August 23rd Tom Wavra
Tom is performing solo acoustic shows virtually every weekend and has for the last 5 years. Starting with his 60’s and 70’s rock roots, Tom has added a wide range of crowd favorites like Bob Seger, Neil Diamond, Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty and so much more. With nearly 400 songs he covers something for everyone. It takes a big vocal range to go from Johnny Cash to Led Zeppelin. It makes for a great evening of music with plenty of surprises along the way!

August 28th & 29th – Hounds of Finn
Blend spirited toe-tapping, foot-stomping, hand-clapping, Celtic-infused, Americana-influenced Folk Rock with infectious enthusiasm, electrifying energy, and technical finesse, and the result is the rousing, crowd pleasing entertainment that is the hallmark of every Hounds of Finn show. Joined regularly by special guests, the Hounds of Finn are Pete McCauley, Michelle MacGregor, and Lojo Russo. Don’t miss them at a festival, theater, or pub near you!

Sunday August 30th Marcus Lere
Ever since he was a youngster, Marcus Lere has been influenced by music. From the days of singing along to Michael Jackson, to learning the saxophone licks of Bruce Springsteen’s own Clarence Clemons, and to jamming along to songs from Incubus and Silverchair, Lere dug deep to create his own brand of music that would inspire those who enjoy his compositions.

September 4th & 5th – Bedlam
Bedlam is a band born out of the talent pool of the MN Renaissance Festival. Over the years the band has had a diverse sound and many different members. Its recent incarnation is a folk band with a hippie attitude. Many familiar songs with a different slant along with some original material as well. As the name implies a stage with this group on it is not a very stable one and you never know who may show up and sit in on a set.

September 11th & 12th – Lojo Russo
Whether playing festivals or front steps, coffee houses or concert halls Lojo Russo connects with her audience in a way few performers can. Her enormous stage energy, powerful voice and percussive playing style belie her small frame. This little woman puts on one heckuva big show

September 13th Vinnie Rose
Vinnie Rose’s debut album, The American Dream, is a genre crossing culmination of over a decade’s long vision. Opening with the explosive dance pop song Scream it seamlessly meanders through rock, country, pop, and Americana. Minnesota/Wisconsin locals are quick to recall weekend cabin trips to the lake while listening to Castin’ to the Wind and Lake Country. Love song enthusiasts enjoy the simple yet meticulously produced compositions of In the Air, She Dreams, and My Bride.
